The Northwest Sacred Music Chorale is a member of the Coeur d'Alene Art & Culture Alliance which exists to promote and inform area residents and visitors about the arts and cultural activities available in our community and assist artists and arts entities to successfully achieve their goals.

Downtown Coeur d'Alene on the 4th Friday of January though March.

The 2009 Music Walk Season is complete, stay tuned for the 2010 season, beginning in Januaryl. In the meantime, enjoy Artwalk, held on the 2nd Friday of each month.

Concert Schedule

November 14, 2009 7:00 PM and November 15, 2009, 3:00 PM

The fall concert will blend classical and contemporary music.  We will celebrate the 200th anniversary of Mendelssohn’s birth with selections from Elijah-a Mendelssohn classic.  We will change the pace and the tenor by performing a medley of contemporary favorites including Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door (Bob Dylan), Jesus is on the mainline (Aerosmith), and Heaven Help Us (Ray Charles)

December 16th, 2009 5:00 PM & 8:00 PM

We will continue with our traditional “Come Home to the Sights and Sounds of Christmas”, featuring classical guitar, harp, piano, vocal solos, the ensemble, and the chorale-all in the spirit of Christmas. This concert is always our most popular. -Two Performances

March 27th & 28th, 2010

The spring concert will feature Jackson and Almeda Berkey of Mannheim, Steamroller.  Jackson, who was the principle Keyboardist for Mannheim Steamroller will play the keyboards and Almeda will conduct as the chorale performs Jackson’s Easter Cantata, “Come Follow Me” This will be a most exciting concert.

Our Repertoire

Some of our repertoire highlights have included John Rutter's Gloria with brass, organ and percussion, Haydn's Mass In Time of War with full orchestra, and Vivaldi's Gloria and Beetohoven's Ninth Symphony as joint collaborations with the Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra.
