Our Fall Concert will blend classical and contemporary music. We will celebrate the 200th anniversary of Mendelssohn’s birth with selections from Elijah-a Mendelssohn classic.
Oratorio Elijah is considered the greatest work of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy (1809-1847), German composer of the Romantic era, born in Hamburg, Germany.
We will change the pace and the tenor by performing a medley of contemporary favorites including Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door (Bob Dylan), Jesus is on the mainline (Aerosmith), and Heaven Help Us (Ray Charles)
Join us on November 14th, 2009 at 7:00 PM or on November 15th,
at 3:00 PM for our opening Fall Concert at the Kroc Center in Coeur d'Alene.
